Computer help required

Wiped Knob Over Screen Already.
Laptop always used to pick up 5g internet automatically, now I cant even see any 5g networks when I try to connect to the internet.
Mobile and other laptops are picking up 5g and no problems with the router.
Turned everything on and off again and did a system restore on laptop
Any ideas?

Shorter range but isn't prone to interference from microwaves, cordless phones etc

Why's 5g meant to be better? It seems to have a much shorter range than 2g. I find that parts of the house away from the router it always connects to 2g with a strong signal and have no problems streaming. When I'm closer to the router it seems to connect over 5g but don't really notice any difference.

Are you confusing 2G, 3G etc with the mobile network?

Have you done any updates or auto updates?
Try uninstalling driver for wifi on laptop and reinstalling using latest driver..

Yes, Can get on 2g, can see all the neighbours 2gs but i used to see my 5g and others untill yesterday.
